TRAINING THROUGH KENLYN KENNELS

 

Kenlyn Kennels is pleased to offer training for it's customers, both old and new. We make it easy for you to have the pet you always wanted. We offer three basic types of training in addition to agility and specialized obedience training depending on the type of training that is needed. We offer several different kinds of classes that let you tailor your dog's training around his (and your) training needs.

 

Puppy Management	New member of the family? Needs some manners? No problem. Remember these early years can be crucial to the development of your pet to ensure a happy, well-behaved family member for years to come.
Basic Obedience	Teach your dog to respond to all your cues, including heel, sit, down, stay, and come. Give your dog the leadership he craves!
Behavior Problems	Are you having problems with your dog that requires further training? This type of training will help with problems such as aggression, anxiety, phobias, or just plain unruly behavior

 

TRAINING SESSIONS

 

Private Sessions	These sessions are tailored to cover the whole spectrum of problem behaviors and tailored to the specific needs of the pet and owner. They are designed for the owner who wants more out of training than what a class can offer. One-on-one personalized sessions can speed up the training process, providing real focus and attention to each dog's individual needs.
Boarding Training	These types of lessons provide the most consistent and intensive training. As the dog is trained every day while being boarded, and the message is consistent and correct, an excellent and solid base is built for all the dog's future obedience training. A professional can elicit the right response from your pet - then he'll teach you how to do the same! Typically a stay will last 10 to 14 days. At the end of this time, excellent results are obtained and the obedience can be in effect immediately upon the owner's return. A series of follow-up sessions with the owner and trainer are included.
Refresher Training	This type of training is for owners who have already accomplished obedience training with their dog in the past and would like their dog to have a refresher while being boarded. Refreshers consist of obedience training along with game-playing in thirty-minute sessions. A Complimentary Service	We want your training to have continued success for the life of your dog. When your dog has had training from Kenlyn Kennels, he becomes part of the Kenlyn Kennels family and is eligible for complimentary refresher training during every stay at our beautiful facility.
Basic Obedience Classes	Small classes are held one evening per week for the "unruly puppy" or the "misbehaving adult". Call 608-884-8355 for class schedules.
